Miguel Cruz Mendes

Born in Marinha Grande, Miguel Mendes holds a degree in Theatre – Production Branch from the Lisbon Theatre and Film School (Escola Superior de Teatro e Cinema), a postgraduate degree in Culture Studies and Management, and is currently concluding his Master's in Culture Studies and Management at ISCTE.

He was the Executive Producer for the shows "O Tartufo" (2022 – National Theatre D. Maria II, National Theatre São João, Galician Drama Centre, and Les Célestins –Théâtre de Lyon), "Insulto ao Público" (2022 – National Theatre D. Maria II), collaborated with Marinha TV, and produced and directed the stage for the "Commemorative Gala of the 30th Anniversary of the Convention on the Rights of the Child" (2019 – Marinha Grande) and the "Diploma Day" ceremony (2019 – Marinha Grande), among others.

He also served as Stage Manager for the 5th edition of Operafest (2024) and was the Musical Director for the concert "Natal (En)Cantado" (2022).

In 2022, he founded the Lote 64 Association, where he holds the roles of Production Director, Stage Manager, and Technical Director.

He worked with the Mala Voadora theatre company and, since 2023, has been the Assistant Technical Director at the National Theatre of São Carlos.
