Sara Sequeira Abrantes

Holds a degree in Artistic Studies, specializing in Performing Arts, from the Faculty of Letters of the University of Lisbon, and a postgraduate degree in Museology from the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities in Lisbon. She also attended the Cinéma et Audiovisuel course at Sorbonne Nouvelle - Paris 3 in Paris.

She has developed her professional activity in the fields of arts production and programming, having worked for national and international organizations such as the Institut Français (2012-2017), as programmer of the French Film Festival, and the production and distribution company Midas Filmes, as head of the Home Video department (2014-2017).

She has worked at the Materiais Diversos Cultural Association since January 2017, having collaborated, between January 2017 and September 2020, in the area of production and dissemination of Associated Projects. In October 2020, she assumed the role of Production Director of this organization.

She is an invited assistant professor at the Lisbon Dance School (IPL), where she teaches the Strategic Production module.
