Stephan Ferdinand Jürgens

Stephan Jürgens holds a doctorate in Performing Arts and New Technologies. His artistic and scientific research interests focus on the development of creative strategies for live performance involving interactive systems. He has lectured in video design and interactive system design (development of interactive systems for stage and installations), movement research (improvisation and composition techniques in dance), and interdisciplinary choreography for over 20 years.

Stephan has collaborated on several international research projects, all of which are related to the investigation of the use of new technologies in Live Digital Performance Contemporary Dance.
