He has been an assistant and/or rehearsal director for choreographers Paulo Ribeiro, Amanda Miller, Dana Caspersen, Anouk van Dijk, David Parsons, Jiří Kylián, Ohad Naharin, Rodrigo Pederneiras, Henrique Rodovalho, Guilherme Botelho, Vera Mantero, Olga Roriz, Rui Lopes Graça, Juan Carlos Garcia, Cesc Gelabert, Didy Veldman, Itzik Galili, Bruno Listopad, Ron Bunzel, Truus Bronkhorst, and Marie Chouinard, among others.

In 1999, he joined the Gulbenkian Ballet as a teacher and rehearsal director until the company's dissolution in 2006. He received the ADAMI INTERPRETATION PRIZE at Bagnolet in 1994 and the UNSURPASSED MASTER OF DELIBERATE MOVEMENT mention at the Holland Dance Festival in 1998.
